OPTION B: 5 days
This tour is also a camping tour, but overnight stay is only in fenced in and fully equipped campsites on the South African side of the Park. This suggests that you can move around freely inside the camp, while flushing toilets, showers and electrical plugs are also available.  This program is suitable for everyone.

Tour Program

Day 1: We pick you up - fully equipped - at the Upington Airport from where we drive to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park up to Twee Rivieren,the Park entrance gate. We undertake our first long safari drive to Mata-Mata where we’ll set up camp for the first two nights on a fully equipped campsite.
Overnight stay: Camping Mata-Mata
Meals: Dinner

Day 2: From Mata-Mata we go on morning and evening game drives.  Giraffes were introduced to this area about ten years ago.  There is a great possibility that we will come across a few of these elegant animals.

Meals: Full board

Day 3: Our safari leads us to the opposite side of the Park to the fully equipped Nossob Camp, our base for the next two nights.  You will observe a wide variety of game, such as Oryx, Springbok and others or maybe even the black-maned Kalahari Lion!

Meals: Full board

Day 4: During the night maybe the roar of a lion from the nearby water hole will wake you (Nossob is lion territory!) Before breakfast on our early morning drive we would most likely get a closer look of these noisy guys.  After breakfast we go on a morning safari drive in another direction. We return to camp for lunch for a break before setting out on our evening safari drive.

Day 5: Safari drive to Twee Rivieren where we leave the Park early afternoon.  What animals will we meet today?  Of course everything that growls will be appreciated! 
Afterwards we drive towards  Upington to Kalahari Guest Farm where we’ll set up camp under shady trees. Enjoy the last evening around the camp fire under the African skies.
Overnight stay: Camping Kalahari Guest Farm (fully equipped)
Meals:  Full board

Day 6: After breakfast we break down camp and drive back to Upington (about half an hour off)

OPTION C: 5 days

Option C is the same program as indicated by Option B. The only difference: OVERNIGHT STAY IN COMFORTABLE CHALETS.

3 Different tours to choose from:

OPTION A: 5 days
This tour is camping, with both campsites Rooiputs and Polentswa (see map), on the Botswana side of the Park. Both camps are wilderness camps without fences, limited water, no electricity and plain long drop toilets. Therefore understandably, this tour is only for the brave at heart, those not frightened by the sounds of nature!

Tour Program

Day 1: We pick you up - fully equipped - at the Upington Airport from where we drive to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park up to Rooiputs. Facilities in all Botswana camps are very basic. Each campsite has an A-frame shade construction, long drop toilet, mostly NO water. Camping is in the wilderness of the Kalahari with NO protective fencing. Nothing to worry about though, as you'll have a well-experienced tour guide who can handle the situation. Enjoy dinner around the fire while listening to the typical Kalahari sounds of the night - especially lion, hyena or black backed jackal.
Overnight stay: Camping Rooiputs (limited water)
Meals: Dinner



Day 2: Maybe the roar of a lion will wake you early in the morning as the water hole at Rooiputs is famous for attracting ‘big cats’! After breakfast we go on a morning safari drive.  We return to camp for lunch for a break before setting out on our evening safari drive.
Overnight stay: Camping Rooiputs (limited water)
Meals: Full board

Day 3: During our safari drive through the Kalahari National Park via Nossob Camp to Polentswa, you will observe a wide variety of game, such as Oryx, Springbok, maybe the black-maned Kalahari Lion and many more.
Overnight stay: Camping Polentswa (limited water)
Meals: Full board

Day 4: Our safari drive takes us to the most northern point of the Kgalagadi Park at Union’s End.  What animals will we come across today? Maybe we will be fortunate enough to find a cheetah hunting his prey?
Overnight stay: Camping Polentswa (limited water)
Meals: Full board

Day 5: Safari drive via Nossob to Twee Rivieren where we leave the Park early afternoon. What will be on our viewing calendar today? Everything that growls will be a bonus of course! Afterwards we drive towards Upington to Kalahari Guest Farm where we’ll set up camp under shady trees. Enjoy the last evening around the camp fire under the African skies.
Overnight stay: Camping Kalahari Guest Farm (fully equipped)
Meals: Full board

Day 6: After breakfast we break down camp and drive back to Upington (about half an hour off)
